DRIFF 2020 is an online festival running October 1-3 which offers three days of carefully selected virtual programming from around the globe with a focus on Ontario and Durham Region productions. DRIFF will close the festival with a drive-in movie experience at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa on October 3rd.

BIG WHEELS, (Canada) dir Andrew Simspson (22 minutes) short film: Two men fueled by alcohol and rage force a mechanic into giving their car a last minute inspection. As the process continues, shifts in power emerge and tensions start to run dangerously high.
COMPANY TOWN, (Canada) dir Peter Findlay (52 minutes) Opening Night Film: On the anniversary of General Motors' 100th year of manufacturing vehicles in Oshawa, Canada, the union is forced into a life-and-death fight to save members' jobs when the company announces it will be shuttering the plant at the end of the next year.
