Chancellor’s Challenge 5 km Run/Walk
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, join Ontario Tech University Chancellor, Mitch Frazer, in the Chancellor's Challenge; a 5 km Run/Walk to raise funds for student bursaries and scholarships.
As a champion of students and STEM education, Chancellor Mitch Frazer has created the Chancellor's Fund with a $1 million goal. Supporting this goal, the 2022 Chancellor's Challenge will connect faculty, staff, alumni, students and the community in having fun while helping Ontario Tech students.
The five-kilometre course winds along Ontario Tech's north campus, starting and finishing at Polonsky Commons. The Chancellor's Challenge is a non-competitive and inclusive community event with no time limit.
Join the Challenge:
All fundraisers will be invited to an exclusive tour of the Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) directly following the event. ACE is the only place on Earth where you will find a climatic aerodynamic wind tunnel with enhanced acoustics, combined with leading researchers and top engineers, all under one roof.
Keep the fun going! Show your Ontario Tech Ridgeback spirit by heading across campus to Vaso's Field after the Challenge. Cheer on the Ontario Tech Women's Varsity Soccer Team as they take on the Ottawa Gee-Gee's at 1 p.m. Food concessions are open and a cash BBQ will be available starting at noon.
Together, we can reach the finish line and support students in need. For more information, please visit: https://ontariotechu.ca/chancellorschallenge
