A tribute honouring the life and legacy of Dr. B. George Blake, founder of Durham Storytellers (formerly Durham Folklore Storytellers). This concert will include original Durham Storytellers elders, a performance from the AFIWI Groove drummers, and award-winning international fiddler, Emily Yarascavitch. Visit the City of Oshawa “Art and Culture in the Hall” exhibit about Dr. B. George Blake, running from June to November. In partnership with The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, The City of Oshawa, and Durham Storytellers. Artistic Director: Heather Whaley. Light refreshments, allergy alert.
