Once again this year, as has been the tradition for over 40 years, the R otary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood is selling Holiday Fruit Cakes (this year fro m McFadgen’s Bakery, Glace Bay, NS) and Smoked Hams (again, this year from Brandt Meats) for Rotary projects, it was announced, today, by Ted Morrison , Past President of the Rotary Club and Chairman of the fundraising event.< /p>

 The Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood supports many community services such as Lakeridge Health – Oshawa, the Colonel R. S McLaughlin Durham Regio nal Cancer Centre, Senior Citizens, challenged adults in our community, the Kids Safety Village of Durham Region, Participation House, Grandview Child ren’s Centre, YMCA, Simcoe Hall Settlement House, Feed The Need Durham, the Back Street Mission, Waverly Public School, Ontario Tech University and Du rham College and many other services, here in the Durham Region and through out the world, like the eradication of Polio, worldwide.
