Join Amy Barron, Program Coordinator at Clarington Museums, to discuss Camp 30; a prisoner of war camp during the Second World War. Camp 30 played host to many high-ranking German officials and is famous for ‘the Battle of Bowmanville.’ At the Oshawa Museum’s latest Tea & talk on Sunday, September 29th, find out more about this National Historic Site’s history. Visitor Hosts serve tea and scones at 1 pm, with the lecture to follow. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for members of the Oshawa Historical Society. Reservations are required.
