Now that theatres everywhere are opening up and welcoming crowds wishing to be entertained, residents of Bowmanville have a live, improv comedy show to look forward to. On Friday, June 10, internationally renowned improv comics The Fidgets will be hitting the stage.
Since 2007, this team of 3 has been wowing audiences from one side of the country to the other. 4 cross-country tours and one Amazon comedy special later, they are ready to entertain the residents of Bowmanville!
Much like the hit ABC show “Whose Line Is It Anyway” The Fidgets get all of their ideas and suggestions from the crowd and build their sketches from there.
“The thing that makes our show completely different is that it is Slap-Your-Knee funny and totally family friendly as well,” explained troupe leader John Hollingsworth. “You can bring your parents, your friends, even your grumpy Aunt Louise. Everyone will enjoy the show”
Doors open at 6:30 pm at Knox Christian School, 410 North Scugog Court, Bowmanville. The cost of the show has been covered and donations are gratefully accepted.
