On Saturday, December 3, from 6 – 8 pm, the Oshawa Museum will open the doors to our historic homes. Traditionally Victorian-dressed staff members greet visitors in Henry House, which is lit with oil lamps, while they tour the home of Thomas and Lurenda Henry. The Durham Storytellers will entertain visitors in each house. Looking also to share diverse community stories, Robinson House features the 'A Carrying Place: Oshawa's Indigenous Story' and 'Leaving Home, Finding Home in Oshawa: Displaced People and Stories of Immigration' exhibits. $5 per person. Historical Society members are free.
