We are excited to announce the Whitby Public Library’s new Discovery Zones Grand Reveal on Monday, March 6 at the Central Library! Official remarks begin at 2:00 p.m followed by demonstrations and hands-on activities.  

Discovery Zones will be transformative spaces that connect learners, creators and entrepreneurs to tools, technology and each other. Items available include: a sound booth, a large format printer, Adobe Creative Cloud, a 3D printer, a Cricut machine and a button maker.  

In addition to Discovery Zones, the Whitby Public Library will be encouraging program participants to create, experiment, and explore using items from our Discovery Carts and to discover more at home by borrowing a Discovery Kit.
