Huntington's Heroes National Walk and Fun Fair offers family fun for the entire afternoon. Our 10th annual walk begins at 11:00 am from Bow Memorial Park, Liberty St S in Bowmanville. A group of participants who are capable of walking 5km will leave the park and walk the outlined route on the sidewalks along #2Hwy to downtown Bowmanville and back to the park. There you can enjoy a BBQ lunch waiting for you, a bouncy castle and games for the little ones, face painting, live entertainment, Bowmanville Fire Department with their mascot Sparky, Smiling Faces Equestrian Centre with horses waiting to have their photos taken with you and plenty more fun for the afternoon.
If you would like to participate in the walk and collect donations for the Huntington Society of Canada you can register or donate at the link below. Donations go toward much needed research to find a treatment or better yet a cure for this tragic, rare disease.
