Durham Alternative Secondary School (DASS), with 3 sites (Oshawa, Pickering and Port Perry), serves students ages 17 to 21 to finish high school and get their diploma by offering flexible timetabling and numerous supports to meet the needs of individual students; many of which face challenges related to food, shelter, and clothing insecurities to parenthood, independent living, mental health and well-being struggles.
