DESCRIPTION:<p>Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 10<sup>th</sup>, 2024 as the 15<
 sup>th</sup> Annual Orono Antique Street Festival will be held on Main Stre
 et, Orono. This is a free admission event and is held between 10am to 4pm, 
 rain or shine.</p><p>On August 10<sup>th,</sup> the Main Street in downtown
  Orono will be closed to traffic between 10am and 4pm to showcase the 15<su
 p>th</sup> Annual Orono Antique Street Festival. Residents and visitors ali
 ke will be treated to a great selection of antiques, collectables, vintage 
 finds, furniture, toys, books, jewellery, art, vintage vinyl and so much mo
 re in this one day event.</p><p>Once again, Orono Antique Market representa
 tives, Allister Macrae and Rebecca Goddard have taken on the responsibility
  of organizing this year’s show. Last year’s show was a huge success and th
 e event reached record attendance.  Ms. Goddard was pleased to inform us th
 at this year’s Antique Street Festival has attracted 25 plus independent ne
 w and returning Antique Dealers, who will be displaying their antiques and 
 collectables on the street that day. She also stated that, in addition, the
  local antique shops of Orono, which include the Orono Antique Market and M
 ain Thru Church Antique Mall, will all be open for business with great in-s
 tore specials to celebrate this event. These two independent antique shops 
 collectively represent approximately 11,000 sq ft of antique and vintage it
 ems and are host to 25-30 antique dealers year-round.</p><p>Orono has becom
 e quite the destination for Antique and Vintage shoppers.</p><p>Once festiv
 al goers have worked up an appetite they can grab a bite to eat at one of O
 rono’s local restaurants or outdoor food venues and enjoy music from our li
 ve entertainment.</p><p>Orono is located just off Hwy115, 7 minutes north o
