SUMMARY:Firehouse Fright Night 2026
LOCATION:Watson Farms
DESCRIPTION:The 19th annual Firehouse Fright Night trail of terrors inside the huge cor
n maze at Watson Farms! Dare to enter a space teeming with spooky creatures
for this year's theme - "The Harvest!" Check out our spooky theme reveal t
railer when in late September. \n2287 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Bowmanville, O
N L1C 3K3, Canada\n\nEARLY GHOUL SPECIAL (2024 price!) until 12:30am Sept 2
1st! \nInteractive, story-driven trail (about 20 mins to walk through)\n\nO
ct 14 (7-9pm), 15, 16 17th (7pm-10pm)\n\nOver 30 scenes spread across GIANT
corn maze!\n80+ characters that will seek you out as you travel\nSafety No
te -> Loud sounds, strobe lights, fog, and other special effects in use!
\nGreat for all ages and especially for families (and date nights!)\nSnacks
/treats (giant cookies, candy apples, etc) for sale at the exit just $3ea o
r 2/$5\nNOTE: If you have come other years, you know we also had a Wagon Ri
de for you! But this year the corn is right near the parking lot, so no nee
d for the Wagon this time. Sorry - we like that part too! But lots of actio
n as soon as you arrive by the big green barn! \nNEW this year - we'll have
something you can take home with you that lets you proudly share your Frig
ht Night survival! A cool, inexpensive, warm "something". Stay tuned! \n\nP
arents - you know best what your kids enjoy for a good scare. We have seen
kids age 5 and less who are fascinated and love the experience, and we have
seen teens who can't make it past the clowns (oh yes, there will be creepy
clowns folks!) We leave it to you to decide if its the right fit for your
kids. We do also provide a "magic" word just before you enter; something yo
u can shout out to scare the monsters back...a little bit. \n\nThis event w
ouldn't be possible without the exceptional, generous support of Watson Far
ms and Paul Watson in particular. Thank you for hosting our monsters year a
fter year!\n\n-=> ABOUT TICKETS\nYou buy 1 ticket per person, for a book
ed time.\n Discounted prices are shown for buying 4 or more tickets! \n L
ike every year, we absorb the service fees!\n Compare us to other events -
we are 35% to 80% less expensive than any other spooky event out there, bu
t with the a huge and uniquely interactive experience!\nYou will be sent in
as a group\n If you have more than 6 in your party, we will split you int
o multiple groups at the trail entrance\n If you are less than 6 in your p
arty, we will send smaller groups in as one larger group\n Tickets are sol
d online only for booked times. \nIt is CRITICAL you arrive 20 minutes befo
re your time.\n Example, if your ticket is for 7:00 - 7:10pm, you must arr
ive by 6:40pm.\n This is because we cannot just "slip you in" if you are l
ate. It would push everyone else out of their time slot and that is not fai
r to them. There are no refunds if you are late. \nYour ticket will come to
you as an E-mail, and you need to bring that on your cell phone (or printe
d) so that we can scan them when you arrive. \nPlease make sure you have a
ticket for EACH person in your group. Your ticket can only be used once. \
nNo ticket, no entry. \n\n-=> IMPORTANT SAFETY ITEMS:\nThe trail is NOT
considered accessibility-themed. This is a corn field, with uneven ground,
corn stalks and cobs on the ground. While a wheelchair can fit through the
width of the trail, wet weather and other conditions would make it difficul
t for persons needing any kind of mobility assistance to navigate. You may
wish to come, but understand it can be difficult to to traverse! \n\nBy boo
king times, we are keeping the number of people in line at a minimum, reduc
ing your wait time to enter\n\nFor your safety - there is no touching the m
onsters, pushing, crawling or running inside the maze\n\nLoud sounds, strob
e lights, fog and other special effects in use\n\nPort-o-Potties are availa
ble on site\n\nABOUT US:The Firehouse Youth Centre is one of three youth dr
op-in spaces of the Clarington Youth Centres program, run by the John Howar
d Society of Durham Region. It provides a great space for youth age 12-19 t
o enjoy together, with support from our staff through various events and ac
tivities during the year. As a registered charity with over 60 years of ser
vice to the people of Durham, JHS provides many free services such as emplo
yment, housing help, counselling programs, and more to individuals and fami
lies, youth and adults. Check out our websites of www.cycentres.ca or www.j
hsd.ca for more details. Over 140 volunteers come together to put on the an
nual Fright Night event.
